Terms Of Service
Welcome to Wootlet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wootlet, available at wootlet.com (the "Service"), operated by Wootlet SRL ("we", "us", or "our"), a company based in the Republic of Moldova. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What Wootlet is
Wootlet is a free deal-tracking and alert service. You save keywords, and when deals matching those keywords appear on Woot.com, we send you a notification by email, in the app, or through your own Pushover account if you connect one.
We do not sell any products. We display deal information and link to Woot.com. All purchases happen on Woot.com (or other third-party sites) under those sites' own terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Wootlet, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Accounts and security
To use most features you need an account. You can sign up with an email and password, through a supported third-party identity provider, and optionally enable two-factor authentication. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Keep your password and any authentication codes confidential.
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@wootlet.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You can close your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. Some data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service except through features we explicitly provide.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service.
- Use automation that abuses the Service, sends spam, or attempts to circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or otherwise interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to violate applicable law or to infringe the rights of others.
API usage
You can generate personal API tokens to access your own data programmatically. API usage is subject to the rate limits documented in the Service. You are responsible for keeping your tokens confidential and for any activity performed using them. We may throttle, suspend, or revoke tokens that abuse the Service or otherwise violate these Terms.
Notifications and deal data
Deal information shown by Wootlet is sourced from Woot and may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or outdated. We make no guarantees about price, availability, stock, shipping, or product quality. Always confirm the details on Woot.com before purchasing.
Notifications (instant alerts, daily digests, in-app messages, and Pushover pushes) are best-effort. We do not guarantee that any notification will be delivered, delivered on time, or that you will see a deal before it sells out.
Purchases, refunds, and third-party sites
Wootlet does not sell products. All purchases happen on third-party sites such as Woot.com. Refunds, returns, warranties, shipping, and any other purchase-related issues are the responsibility of the seller. Direct those inquiries to Woot (or the relevant third party) directly.
When you follow a link from Wootlet to Woot, Amazon, or any other external site, you leave our Service and become subject to that site's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content, products, prices, transactions, or availability on any third-party site.
The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, the specific billing terms displayed at the time of purchase will govern those features.
Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from changes, downtime, or discontinuation of the Service.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its code, design, branding, and original content, belongs to Wootlet SRL and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.
You retain ownership of any content you submit, such as your saved keywords and notification preferences. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you.
Trademarks and product names referenced in the Service (including Woot and Amazon) belong to their respective owners. Any such mention is for descriptive or identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or for legal or security reasons. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that deal data is correct, that notifications will arrive, or that the Service will help you obtain any particular deal.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wootlet SRL and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or missed deals, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, if the Service was free during that period, the equivalent of one US dollar (USD 1).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wootlet SRL and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence require otherwise.
Affiliation disclaimer
Wootlet is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Woot, Inc. and Amazon.com, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All third-party trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown on this page and, for material changes, prompt you to review and re-accept the Terms before continuing to use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wootlet SRL regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
