Wera WER05022669001 3950 Spkl/9 SM Metric L-Kit

Standard carbon-steel tools can leave rust particles on stainless steel fasteners and surfaces — a problem in marine, food service, medical, and outdoor stainless applications where corrosion contamination isn't acceptable. The Wera 3950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Stainless set solves this with fully stainless steel construction that eliminates the rust-transfer risk entirely. Going stainless doesn't mean giving up strength: these keys are vacuum ice-hardened to the same hardness and strength as Wera's standard carbon-steel tools, with no stated limitation on the industrial applications they're suited for. The set carries the same Hex-Plus geometry found across Wera's hex key line, increasing contact with the screw head to apply as much as 20% more torque before the recess rounds out — while still fitting every standard hexagon socket screw. A ball tip on the long arm lets you swivel the key off-axis for angled, around-the-corner driving where a straight key won't line up. This 9-piece metric set covers 1.5mm through 10mm, each key color coded and laser-engraved by size under Wera's Take it easy system. The circular-material thermoplastic sleeve stays comfortable even at low temperatures, and a wear-resistant clip holds each key securely while allowing quick, one-handed removal.Solution to the extraneous rust problem: fasten stainless screws with stainless toolsHex-plus allows hexagonal socket screws to live longerStainless l-keys prevent extraneous rust on stainless screwsCountry of origin: Czech Republic Shipping Note: Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, and APO addresses is not available for this item Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty
